We explore every learning opportunity, we explore our potential. We aim to transform our lessons to cross-curricular experiences. We bring geography, science, art, cooking and tasting into our classrooms. We believe in a holistic approach to learning, where language serves as both the medium and the gateway to a fascinating world waiting to be explored.

We travel! We travel not only to acquire valuable experiences but also to expose our students to the vast world beyond. Whether it’s attending theatrical plays and concerts in different cities or organising summer school trips to England, we seize every opportunity to create new “journeys” for our students. Our dedication to and love of  learning constitutes the longest and most rewarding journey we aspire to provide for our students.

Our students are readers! We nurture their reading passion by incorporating literature, stories, and fairytales into our curriculum. Exposure to diverse materials enhances their reading competence and critical thinking. Through the pages of books, we take delightful journeys around the world, immersing ourselves in diverse cultures, engaging with important social issues, and discovering the richness of characters and values across different eras.

A good thinker is a good listener!  A  good thinker creates wonderful questions. Our inquiry-based approach, our artful thinking and cultures of thinking programs enhance our students’ thinking- inquiry – reflection skills. We are “philosophers!”

We connect! Our classroom extends to the entire world! We host live virtual trips to museums globally, exploring places like the Elephant Sanctuary, Yellowstone Park, and the Intrepid Museum in the USA. We engage in live interactions with classes worldwide, collaborating on projects, exchanging cultures, sharing knowledge and experiences. We consistently aim to demonstrate to our students that our world is vast, yet remarkably interconnected. We are all so different but, oh, so wonderfully alike.

One Book, One Dream, One World

Welcome to the enchanting world of “One Book, One Dream, One World”. Our magical book holds within its pages the hopes, dreams and voices of students from schools across the country since it visits by post a different destination every ten days throughout the school year.

“One Book, One Dream, one World” is not an ordinary book. It possesses a unique ability to transcend boundaries and embark on incredible journeys, traveling from school to school. With each visit, it invites students to share their thoughts, opinions and feelings on one or more Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) in whatever form they desire. Through poetry, prose, artwork, lyrics and crafts, young minds pour their hearts onto the pages, breathing life into the noble cause of sustainable development.

This collaborative “masterpiece`’ serves as a medium for students to express themselves freely, showcasing their talent and passion. It captures the essence of their commitment to building a better future and reflects the diverse perspectives that shape our society. It serves as a beacon of hope, illuminating the path towards a sustainable and suitable world for all. Its pages unfold to reveal stories of resilience, empathy and determination, inspiring readers to take action and make a difference in their own lives and communities.

Art plays an incredibly vital role in our lessons, not in the sense of making art but as the stimulus that opens a window into various worlds and eras to be discovered. Supported by Harvard’s Project Zero, our Artful Thinking program enhances our students’ learning by instilling thinking dispositions through various forms of artwork, including paintings, photography, and street art, among others. Our museum lessons (space-based learning), contribute significantly to an enriching learning experience.

Our students are writers! We turn the art of writing into a path for self-expression. It’s a journey that leads to a deeper understanding of themselves and the discovery of intriguing topics. From creative writing to poetry, script crafting, and even comic creation, our writer’s world is one we cherish.

Uk-ers have diverse opportunities to develop their public speaking skills. Oracy skills are nurtured from an early age, and throughout the years, our students actively engage in debates and presentations before audiences. Our exclusive UK Gameful Assessment Week introduces a unique assessment program. Through this initiative, students receive the necessary technological tools and enhance their presentation skills to become competent  public speakers. Additionally, our school hosts a Ted-ed club, providing many students the chance to participate in both the local Teded event and national Ted-events, proudly representing our school.

We seize every opportunity to celebrate life and culture with our students. We spread joy and work wonders in our children’s souls!

What if schools were less about preparing students for tests and more about preparing them for a lifetime of learning?

What if understanding and application of skill and knowledge rather than the mere acquisition of knowledge were the goal?
